Our Facility.

Boathouse.

Leander Boat club is proud to say that we are a growing club. Our boathouse consists of three main boat bays, an erg pit, changerooms, main office, weight room, an additional doubles bay, and outdoor storage space (‘the compound’). We are constantly adapting to our growing membership and because of our location, we have the space to do it. Our boathouse completely transforms between the on-water season and winter training season for optimal training capacity.

Weight room.

Our weight room has all the basics for a good workout and is available to competitive members. We have addition equipment for large group circuits, and a training group of 4-6 people fit perfectly for individualized and quality training.

Members room/Lounge.

This recently renovated room displays Leander’s history and creates an incredible environmental for community through social events, educational sessions, and business functions.

Rowing Tank.

LBC has an indoor rowing tank! Our tank consists of two sweep oars and is often used to train new rowers. Our tank is great addition bladework practice, group technical demonstrations, and individual focuses.

Docks.

Due to high water levels our docks are currently in a temporary spot. We have two large docks and a great area of water to row on in almost any conditions. We have a 2k course (with one turn), the space for distance rows, hidden slips for calm water/tech rows, and on calm days, the whole Hamilton Bay to ourselves.
